Green Roofs : Expanded Clay Ball is used as a light weight filler in the planting media in green roofs and podium gardens. I t is mixed in the soil layer to provide superior aeration for healthy root growth and create intensive or extensive gardens, with out increasing the load on the structure.
Vertical Gardening: Expanded clay ball is used as a drainage layer at the base of the plant container providing excellent drainage and avoiding root rot, in case of over watering. It also reduces the overall load on the base vertical structure.
Horticulture: Expanded Clay Ball is produced by high temperatures which it makes Expanded Clay Ball sterile and environmentally inert. It is used along with various planting media due to its absorptive and porous characteristics to provide critical soil aeration necessary for plant growth and survival.
Landscaping & Gardening: Expanded Clay Ball is combined with soil, peat moss, coco peat, sand and other amendments to form root zone soil mixes. It is used in golf courses, sports fields, parks, gardens and related turf surfaces. It is also applied as topdressing for decoration and reducing evaporation.
